Therefore, it will be interesting to see how they compare against each other.

Storage space wise, the OnePlus 3T offers buyers 64GB and 128GB storage options and the Google Pixel XL has a 32GB and 128GB storage option. None of the smartphones support microSD storage expansion. When it comes to the processor power of both the handsets, the Google Pixel XL and OnePlus 3T sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, the most powerful successor in the market currently.

However, when it comes to RAM power, the OnePlus 3T handset has a better RAM of 6GB than Google Pixel XL’s 4GB RAM. Naturally, the two need immense battery capacities to run the show. The Pixel XL handset has a 3,450 mAh battery compared to OnePlus 3T’s 3,400 mAh battery.

If operating system is the deciding factor for some, then they might go for the Google Pixel XL as it runs on the latest Android 7.1 Nougat whereas the OnePlus 3T runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Here, Pixel XL is clearly at an advantage as it will always receive the Android update first being a Google device. OnePlus 3T will have to wait longer for OS updates.

For many, the most important deciding factor is the price and camera. Google Pixel XL’s 12.3MP primary camera falls short of the 16MP primary camera that OnePlus 3T sports. However, both the cameras perform great in low light conditions due to their F/2.0 aperture. While the Pixel XL offers an 8MP front camera, OnePlus 3T defeats almost everybody with a 16MP sensor at the front.

When it comes to price, the OnePlus 3T’s 64GB model costs $439 and 128GB $479. The Google Pixel XL 32GB model costs $769 and the 128GB $869.
